The council has worked with Jobsgopublic, the national jobs board dedicated to serving the public sector, to create a new microsite to specifically promote job vacancies within its Children’s Support and Safeguarding teams.
Current vacancies include Social Workers with different experience levels, a Parent Carer Liaison Officer and a Team Manager in the Children in Care Team.
As well as a being the place to go to for a list of vacancies within Children’s Support and Safeguarding teams, the website includes more information about the team, the salary and benefits on offer, and what makes North Somerset a great place to live and work.
Sheila Smith, North Somerset Council’s Director of Children’s Services, said: “I’m pleased that our new website provides a focus on our children’s support and safeguarding vacancies. We hope it brings to life the benefits of working with us as we’re keen to hear from ambitious, innovative, talented, and dynamic people.
