Riverside
Starting Monday 30 September, Riverside will be temporarily closed. The closure is expected to last for three days.
This will allow contractors to
- safely remove vegetation
- clear the site for eventual construction works.
During the three-day closure there will be no access through Riverside Road to the north of the houses and football club. Access will is available via West Street onto Church Street. Properties north of Riverside Crescent will be accessible from the A370.
East Street and Towerhead Road
Starting Monday 30 September, there will be temporary traffic lights on East Street/Towerhead Road. The traffic lights are expected to be in place for four weeks.
This will allow contractors to
- undertake site, vegetation clearance
- dig trial trenches to locate existing services.
Moor Road
Starting Monday 30 September, there will be controlled access through Moor Road. Controlled access will be in place for five days.
This will allow contractors to safely clear vegetation along the side of the carriageway.
If you require access to Moor Road, our contractors will create a safe route through. Please note this may cause some minor delays.
The restricted access will be in place between the hours 7.30am until 5.30pm each day.
5 October
Castle Hill and Dark Lane
Starting Saturday 5 October, there will be daytime weekend closures on Castle Hill and Dark Lane. The closures are expected to be in place over two weekends.
This is to allow contractors to remove vegetation from the overhead electrical cables.
