Free SIM cards and mobile data from North Somerset libraries

If you are over 18 and from a low-income household, you may qualify for a free SIM card and mobile data vouchers. You must meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • has no access or insufficient access to the internet at home
  • has no or insufficient access to the internet when away from home
  • can’t afford your existing monthly contract or top-up

Free SIM cards and mobile data, and unlimited calls and texts from North Somerset Training hub

North Somerset Training hub offers free SIM cards to those who are eligible. They also offer free tablets and free broadband from time to time.

Cheaper broadband

Social tariffs are discounted broadband contracts that are specifically set up for people receiving benefits. The product and level of service is the same as you’d get without a reduced rate.

Old or spare IT equipment that you don't need

If you have IT equipment that you are not using, you could donate it to be refurbished and given to those who do not have access to their own.
