Getting a dropped kerb installed
Apply
Applications can take up to 10 weeks to process. You will either receive a written response approving the work or an explanation why your application has been unsuccessful.
Payment
There is a fee for these applications which covers
- all administration costs
- obtaining utility plans
- a site assessment
You’ll be asked to make a payment when you apply. You can find out how much you’ll need to pay on our fees and charges page.
If your application is refused
If your application is refused, we will write to you to explain why.
Please be aware that if your application does not meet the requirements set out in our policy, your application fee will not be refunded.
Choosing a contractor
All works must comply with New Roads and Street Works Act (NSWRA) 1991. If you choose not to use one of the accredited contractors from our list, your contractor will need to give you a copies of their NRSWA accreditation and public liability insurance. You must send these to us with your application.
