A new initiative called 'your new journey' aims to help residents and workplaces to try out new, sustainable ways of travelling around North Somerset.
The initiative uses community and workplace engagement and events to share bus and bike information, alongside exclusive ticket and bike maintenance offers.
Connecting different ways of travelling, like biking and busing, is a key focus.
After a successful trial in Pill, we are bringing this approach to Portishead, Nailsea, Weston-super-Mare and Worle over spring and summer 2025.
How to get involved
Our travel advisors can host an event in your workplace, where they'll share travel tips, information and offers with you and your colleagues to help with your commutes.
Our timing is flexible, but the rough windows for engagement are:
- Portishead – March/April
- Nailsea – May/June
- Weston-super-Mare – July/August

Community events
Our travel advisors will be hosting pop-up events and stalls at markets and fairs in Portishead, Nailsea and Weston-super-Mare. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for these events and come along for chat.
Our travel advisors will also be delivering information and offers straight to doorsteps in Portishead, Nailsea and Weston-super-Mare. Say hello and ask them your travel questions if you see them on your street.
