Nomination papers for North Somerset Council

If you wish to stand for election for North Somerset Council during the May 2023 elections, you should complete the relevant nomination paper.

We've created an annotated version of a nomination paper to help you complete yours.

You are entitled to a copy of the register of electors for the area you are standing in. To request a copy, complete and return the register request form to us at candidates@n-somerset.gov.uk.

We can only supply the register from the last day to publish the notice of election which is Monday 27 March 2023. If you require elector numbers before this date to enable you to complete your nomination paper, you can complete the elector number request form and return it to candidates@n-somerset.gov.uk. We will not be releasing elector numbers until after we have published the March register on Wednesday 1 March.
