Registrations are now open for the North Somerset Healthy Workplaces Celebratory Event on 7 November 2024 10am – 3.30pm The Winter Gardens, Weston-super-Mare.  

Events celebrating and recognising the importance of breastfeeding have been held in North Somerset, as part of North Somerset Council’s ongoing work to support local children and families.

North Somerset Council’s Health and Wellbeing Survey will be delivered to 5,000 households in the North Somerset area from this week (31 October) to help the council understand the health and wellbeing needs of residents and to help shape future decisions and service design.

Homeowners and private tenants in North Somerset who haven’t been able to install energy-saving upgrades like insulation or solar panels can now apply for help through the Enabling Works Fund. This is made possible by North Somerset Council’s share of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).
