There’s plenty of free and low-cost activities across North Somerset to keep the kids – and adults – entertained this summer.

The Women's Work Lab, supporting mums to return to work after a career break, is proud to announce the graduation of 14 inspiring women from its job skills support scheme.  

Play areas in Clevedon, Portishead, Nailsea and Weston-super-Mare will soon be benefitting from new play equipment. Much of this equipment will be accessible, so as many people as possible can enjoy these outdoor spaces. 

Travel for free on North Somerset buses on Friday 26 July and Monday 29 July and enjoy unlimited bus travel at no cost.

North Somerset Council is pleased to confirm that The Big Lemon will continue to run the X10 bus service from Monday 22 July to Saturday 31 August, until a long-term solution is agreed.
