Young care experienced people in North Somerset can now sign up for a free WESTfares bus pass.

ParkPlay is coming to Clevedon and people of all ages are invited to get involved! It will be the fourth ParkPlay to launch in North Somerset to bring people from local communities together in parks and green spaces for 90 minutes of free, informal games and activity, every Saturday morning.

There’s plenty of free or low-cost activities across North Somerset to keep the children entertained this half-term.

Eight additional closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras are being installed in Weston-super-Mare thanks to a £28k combined investment by North Somerset Council and Avon & Somerset Police.

October birthdays who applied for free birthday bus travel can now get on board a West of England area bus to visit friends, family, local places, make the most of seasonal events – and travel free of charge. 

The number 7 bus service route is going to change from this Sunday (1 October) to travel directly via Bowen Road in the Locking Parklands estate.  

North Somerset Council is joining forces with a group of consumer organisations and charities to ask for urgent action to introduce a social tariff for energy – something that is desperately needed by millions of struggling households in the UK.
