Following a successful bid by the North Somerset Violence Reduction Unit (VRU), the ‘Knife Angel’ will visit North Somerset next spring as part of a nationwide tour to highlight the issue of violent crime.

It has been announced that Wilko in Weston-super-Mare will be closing on Tuesday September 12. 

The next major bus improvement scheme planned for North Somerset will take place on the Brockley Combe junction of the A370. The scheme is part of ambitious bus service improvements which will make bus travel faster, greener, more reliable, convenient, and co-ordinated across the region.
